My favorite Work from Home Ideas

One thing I learned is that there is always something (legal) there that one could do to earn some money. However, what prevents us from finding that something is lack of drive within us to source and once it is found the drive or confidence to pursue it.

Negativity and procrastination are the biggest enemy.  But, I realized after all these years of listening to the negative voices that it is I that needs to take charge there is no loss in trying.

Now, having said that, my best work from home business are things that I could do online as they give me the flexibility, control and it is cheap to start.

The best way to start a work from home business is doing something that we are skillful or knowledgeable in and have passion or interest in. As for me, I self-thought myself to build websites, create logos/banners etc.  So, this is what I did.  I was working a normal 9 to 5 job and did some part-time work building simple websites and logos.  It was easy money!

There are various sites out there where one could advertise his/her skills/knowledge, for example, copy writing, building websites or providing technical assistance, creating logos/banners/advertisements, transcribing, designing, proof reading, book keeping etc.  One could register as a freelancer on numerous sites such as Upwork, Fiverr, People Per Hour, Freelancer and more. Everyday, thousands of people go to these sites to look for freelancers to do their work.  These people post jobs and freelancers can then bid for the jobs.  You will find that it is easier to get jobs once you have a track record.  So, in the beginning you need to charge less and take any work that comes.

Many freelancers make good money from these sites - some even in hundreds of thousands of dollars and have gone to employing people to do the work.

My advise is have a look at these sites, create a profile and bid for jobs that pay the least as these jobs have very little competitions from experienced freelancers. Registration is usually free so, there is no loss in creating a profile.  The sites do take a cut of your income.
